My husband was a Union Labor up to 2009 when he was diagnosed with ALS Lou Gehrigs Disease. Myself as a Union Labor since 2006 have been trying to keep up with the family bills and the growing needs of my husband due to this horrific disease. I have been laid off since November and I am out of unemployment. I recently had to under go surgery to have my appendix removed. i was diagnosed with ALS. my symptoms progressed quickly. son i was having difficulty breathing, swallowing and even walking short distance.
